It is reported that Chelsea’s manager is under pressure from the Chelsea management to improve the team’s form. The club’s hierarchy is not happy with the club’s form and has apparently made their frustration known to the manager.
Indeed Chelsea is 14 points behind Manchester City in the table and has lost all hope of winning the title this season. The Chelsea’s manager has apparently lost faith in the manager and believes that he is not the right man to bring the club forward.
This can come as a surprise for many people as it was the Chelsea’s boss that was fighting to keep Antonio Conte at the club last season when the manager was pondering a return to his native Italy. They had done everything in order to keep the manager at the club, and they now think that this was a mistake.
Indeed there are many incidents that have brought about this change in their stance. First of all, there is the manner that Antonio Conte has handled the Diego Costa incident. He froze the striker out of the team without giving a clear reason why he has done that. This has not gone well with the Chelsea’s management and has contributed to putting the manager under pressure. Fans have become increasingly bemused by the fact he leaves expensive players out of the Match Day squads, with some devout fans buying tickets through this link to see their favourite players in action for their countries, when it seems nigh on impossible that they will get a game at Stamford Bridge!
There is also the declaration that Antonio Conte made where he stated that he was not given enough money to compete in the transfer market.
Indeed Conte has again stated that his squad is not big enough to compete in both the Premier League as well as the Champions League and this is the main reason why they are struggling this season. He said that he would have to invest in new players in the January transfer window if Chelsea is going to finish the current season strongly.
